Robert Thomas McClellan

McClellan, Robert Thomas Died September 17, 2015,
in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the age of 93.

Robert enlisted in the Marine Corps and was a fighter pilot in World War II, where he received the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal and a Gold Star. He received an honorable discharge on 1943 as Captain.  He was a pilot for Northwest Airlines (now Delta), in Minneapolis, Minnesota for 25 years. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, motorcycle riding, traveling and playing Bingo at the VFW and American Legion in Mound. He was the Vice Commander of the VFW Post 5113 and a member of Our Lady of the Lake Church for 50 years.

Bob is survived by his wife, Betty McClellan; children: Patrick (Sheryl), Steven, Mark (Judy), Kevin (Marie Therese), Phillip, Monica (Gary) Elesser, Vincent (Kirstie), Mary Lou (Stuart) Johnson, Brian (deceased), Anthony, & Michael; grandchildren: Brendan & Sean, Lulu, Veronica & Corey Lawson, Jackie (Dan) Larson, Jolene, Cheirdi, Heidn, Jaimie, Jessika (Jim) Schneider, Amy (Jesse) Huron, Justin Kriesal, Dan Simonet, Owen, Ella, Mandy, Joe & Emily Crook, Ben Johnson, Meaghan, Patrick; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation Wednesday, 5-8 PM with prayer service at 7 PM
Location:  Huber Funeral Home, Mound Chapel, 1801 Commerce Blvd., Mound.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 10 AM
Location:  Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 2385 Commerce Blvd., Mound (952-472-1284).
Visitation also 1/2 hour prior to Mass at church on Thursday.
